Accountability
Transparency
These are aggregate, server-side counts. We do not name reporters or targets, and we do not publish private moderation notes.
How reports are handled
Reports enter a private queue. A moderator reviews the report, the visible context, and any account history. Actions can include no action, removing a post or comment, locking a chat room read-only, suspending or banning an account, or escalating to the relevant authority.
Direct messages are end-to-end encrypted. The operator cannot read them, including during a report. A report can include what the reporter saw, but the server cannot decrypt message contents. Metadata such as room membership and timestamps may be preserved when evidence is required.
Legal requests
Requests from law enforcement are reviewed for validity. We disclose the minimum metadata required by law and do not claim to possess encrypted content we cannot read. See the law enforcement policy.
